What We Know
Built in 1967 for 37 staff members, the Glendora Police Department building now houses more than twice the personnel.
Glendora City Hall, built in 1922, has seen only minimal upgrades to meet modern staffing needs
Glendora’s Public Works Yard was built for a much smaller, all-male staff, and it hasn’t kept pace with the city’s growth. Today, there isn’t enough building space for the equipment or the workforce that the city now requires.
Built in 1972, the Glendora Library has struggled with leaks since 1976. The planned second floor was never completed, leaving a plaza whose structure wasn’t designed for exposure to the weather. Despite costly repairs, the library still must close during rain due to ongoing water intrusion.
The La Fetra Center is an aging historic building, and years of use have left it in need of major structural repairs, especially the siding. Its age and multiple additions now require significant renovation
Glendora’s Public Transportation Yard needs modernization to meet state electrification mandates, yet its offices still operate out of a 1950s galvanized steel garage originally built as a workshop and storage.
